Condiciones del servicio de Revela

Última actualización: 1 de octubre de 2026

Revela Terms of Service

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Provider and service

Revela is a project of FM Lab (Francisco Mesas Cervilla), Barcelona, Spain (see the legal notice). It is an open-source presentation editor for the browser and the desktop, usable for free without an account (including the open edition at fmesasc.github.io/revela) or with a Revela account in the official edition (revelaslides.com and the desktop app), with built-in AI and paid plans.

2. Account, content and acceptable use

You sign in with Google and must be at least 14, or use Revela through a school. Your presentations are yours; Revela only stores and processes them to provide the service, and you are responsible for their content and for having the right to use what you include. Do not use Revela for illegal activities, to infringe others' rights, to spread hate or violence, or to harm, overload or bypass the service's limits; accounts may be suspended for misuse. You can download your data or delete your account at any time in My account ▸ Your data.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

Free: the whole editor, 50 AI credits on sign-up and 3 cloud presentations. Pro: €10 a month or €96 a year, with 1000 AI credits a month, 500 cloud presentations, sharing with specific people, statistics and video calls. Credit packs: 500 for €5 or 1500 for €12. Teams: €6 per person a month, at least 3. Prices include VAT; the current ones are on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in My account ▸ Manage subscription and keep the plan until the end of the paid period. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.

4. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. However, Pro and credits are digital content and services activated immediately: by buying them you expressly ask for immediate activation and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once activated (Art. 103 of the Spanish consumer law). If you have a problem with a purchase, contact us anyway.

5. AI credits

Each AI action costs credits according to its real cost; nothing is charged if the AI fails. Credits do not expire while you have the account and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred. Usage limits and a global spending cap may pause the AI temporarily without losing your credits. AI answers can contain mistakes: check them.

6. Teams and schools

A team's creator administers it and pays for its seats. When a school uses Revela with its students (teams or Moodle), the school decides on and is responsible for their accounts; Revela processes their data on the school's behalf.

7. Availability, third parties and liability

Revela aims to be always available but may have interruptions; keep copies of important presentations. Features may change; removal of an important paid feature will be announced in advance. Some features use third-party services (Google, Stripe, OpenRouter, Cloudflare, media libraries, embedded content) under their own terms. Revela is provided with care but with no warranties beyond those required by law; to the extent the law allows, the provider is not liable for data loss or indirect damages. None of this limits your consumer rights.

8. Licence, changes, law and contact

The source code is MIT-licensed (LICENSE); the licence does not give access to the official edition's accounts or services. These terms may be updated (the date above shows the latest version; important changes are announced in the app). Spanish law applies; consumers may go to the courts of their place of residence. Contact: fmesasc.com or github.com/fmesasc/revela/issues.
